Neighbours’ shock as bodies of two women ‘undiscovered for some time’ found inside house after ‘welfare concerns’
THE bodies of two women "undiscovered for some time" have been found inside a Nottingham house - with cops launching a probe.
Cops scrambled to a home in the inner-city Radford area at 11.04am yesterday after concerns were raised for its occupants' welfare.
They later gained entry to the address and found the bodies of two women inside.
It is believed the women's bodies had lain undiscovered for some time.
Horrified neighbour Lin Hui said cops had been at the property all night.
She told the Nottingham Post: "I'm shocked and scared. I didn't know them, I only moved in in September."
Neighbour Matt Alam said: "I'm shocked, I can't remember seeing them in the six years I've been here."
In a statement, Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow said: "We don’t believe there to be an immediate risk to the public.
"But we are keeping an open mind into what has happened at this address.
"We will be working hard over the next few days to establish how and when these two women lost their lives.
"My thoughts and those of every other officer involved in this investigation are with those who have died, their family and friends."
More to follow.
