She took to TikTok to share a video of her process, as she held up a £5 note and posed outside a huge Barnardo's store in Ashton-under-Lyne.

"Times are tough for a lot of us right now and if I was struggling here's how I would turn £3.70 into £530," Francesca began.

Her successful shopping trip began with a pair of black Celine trousers, which were on sale for 50p, but sell for £246 online.

Next up was a French Connection jumper, which sells for around £55 online and she paid just a quid for.

There was a Ralph Lauren top for 20p that sells for £75, as well as a Nobody's Child jumper for £1, that sells for £69.

Francesca concluded her haul with three blazers, all of which were 33p each and sell for 39 Euros online.

"Times are tough for a lot of us now, and here's what I would do if I was struggling," Francesca captioned her video.

People quickly took to the comments section to weigh in on her finds, with one writing: "I always find Barnardo's expensive, so well done!"

"Some are expensive... but this one is incredible!" Francesca replied.

"Love charity shops," another said.

"I’ve never ever found a bargain like that," a third wrote.

"There’s nothing like them that in London, they’re not any charity shop that does things for like 35p or 50p," someone else sighed.

"You live in a good area for bargains!"

"You find so much great stuff, love the TikToks," another praised.

As someone else raged: "I’ve been in lots of charity shops and they are charging lots of money for used items with high street labels.

"I’m not even talking designer! And they wonder why their stock isn’t shifting."

"Ours are expensive and full of absolute rubbish," another agreed.

While others insisted that Francesca was overestimating how much she'd get for the items.

"They don’t sell for this," one said.

"Aren’t these the new prices?!

"Nobody is getting £55 for a second hand French connection jumper!"

To which Francesca replied: "Well the jumper is going to sell for more than £10, so still a bargain.

"And the Celine trousers will sell for £200+!"
