You can do this by adding your card payment details.

Your flight should then be cancelled.

If cancelling online isn't for you then you can call the easyJet customer service team on 0330 365 5000.

You can also cancel flights at an easyJet Help Desk at most airports - but this must be under two hours before take-off.

How much does it cost to cancel an easyJet flight?

If you cancel within 24 hours of booking your flight, you will receive a full refund except for the cancellation fee.

However, if you cancel more than 24 hours after booking, you will not be refunded any of the fare.

You can find the full terms and conditions on the easyjet website.

How far in advance do you have to cancel?

After 24 hours of booking, easyJet flights are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel due to a serious or terminal illness, you need to submit a Medical Declaration document.

The team will then review your case and depending on your circumstances, they may offer you the following:

  • A refund
  • A flight voucher which can be used for another flight within the next six months.

If you're cancelling due to a family bereavement, then contact customer services as soon as possible.

After the team has reviewed your case you may be entitled to:

  • A refund
  • Fee waiver to change your flight
  • A flight voucher which can be used for another flight within the next six months.

You may be required to provide proof, such as a death certificate.

Will I get my money back if I cancel my flight?

If a refund is due, the company says it will refund the card the booking was made under.

This should arrive in three to four days but can take 28 days.

You're also entitled to money back from government flight taxes if you don't fly for any reason.

From the UK, this is £13 per flight for over-16s on all routes.

However, it is £80 for Egypt, Jordan, and Israel.
