A GLADIATOR was disqualified tonight as the new warriors and members of the public thrashed it out in the arena.
Viper was banned from new challenge Collision after he crashed into contender Finley on the bridge.
Viper - real name Quang Luong - then tackled him to the ground as the ref dashed over and Gladiators' commentator announced to the arena audience: "He can't do that!"
The bodybuilder and Finley scowled at each other and the ref announced: "Viper, you've now been disqualified from this event."
Viper then stormed off, and the ref explained: "Viper left his trapeze to go onto the bridge, this is not allowed, so Finley will repeat the last 30 seconds of the event."
Finley was given the chance to complete the game and add to his score.
But viewers were shocked by the ruthless Gladiator and claimed he wanted to be the new Wolf figure.
One said: "Viper clearly trying to be the new wolf. He's got nothing on wolf man."
Three Gladiators continued to swing like wrecking balls to force Finley off.
Fans have been hoping for a new Wolf figure but lashed out at the Gladiator in the opening episode.
