  • What is the format for the tournament?

Every side will learn their routes to the final today.

It works as such: there will be eight round of 16 games, labelled RO16 one, RO16 two, RO16 three etc... up until RO16 eight.

The quarter final looks like this:

    • Winner RO16 one vs Winner RO16 two (Quarter-final one)
    • Winner RO16 three vs Winner RO16 four (Quarter-final two)
    • Winner RO16 five vs Winner RO16 six (Quarter-final three)
    • Winner RO16 seven vs Winner RO16 eight (Quarter-final four)

Then, the semi-finals are as follows:

    • Winner quarter-final one vs Winner quarter-final two
    • Winner quarter-final three vs Winner quarter-final four
  • Who qualified through the Europa League group stage?

The top eight of the Europa League didn't need to play the knockout, as they qualified automatically for the round of 16.

    Those teams were:

    1. Lazio
    2. Athletic Club
    3. Manchester United
    4. Tottenham
    5. Frankfurt
    6. Lyon
    7. Olympiacos
    8. Rangers
  • Who qualified through the knockout phase?

As there is a new format in the Champions League, the top eight qualify automatically, and teams placed 9-24 played elimination qualifiers.

The eight qualifiers on aggregate were:

    • Bobo/Glimt 6-4 Twente
    • Roma 4-3 Porto
    • Galatasaray 3-6 AZ Alkmaar
    • FCSB 4-1 PAOK
    • Ajax 3-2 Union Saint-Gilloise
    • Real Sociedad 7-3 Midtjylland
    • Anderlecht 2-5 Fenerbahce
    • Viktoria Plzen 3-1 Ferencvaros
  • Who can Manchester United and Tottenham face?

Manchester United are the third seed after finishing third in the Europa League group stage.

Ruben Amorim's side will play at home in the second leg, but in their current form, maybe playing home first would have done them a favour.

As a result of finishing third, they will face either AZ Alkmaar or Real Sociedad.

As Spurs finished fourth, they will get whichever side doesn't get drawn against United.

  • How can I watch the draw?

Action on TNT Sports is set to get underway at 12pm GMT, you can also stream on TNT Sports YouTube channel.
