Mum shares GENIUS hack to bring crusty, dried out Play-Doh back to life, and is instantly praised by parents everywhere
THERE'S nothing worse than shelling out on Play-Doh for your kids, only to find the pot's been left open and it's all dried out just days later.
But one mum has shared a genius hack which means you can bring even the crustiest Play-Doh back to life.
Emma took to TikTok to share her clever trick, which is also completely free, as she urged people not to chuck the dried out dough away.
Instead, take all the bits and put them in a plastic food bag.
Then, add in a splash of water.
Once you've done that, use your fingers to "squish the Play-Doh around in the water in the bag".

While you'll feel that the dough is becoming more pliable, you need to leave it overnight to let the moisture fully absorb back into the Play-Doh.
The next morning, when you open the bag, you'll find that it's "soft, smooth and good as new".
And Emma's video, shared on the Teachers Love Hacks page on TikTok, quickly earned praise from frustrated parents everywhere.
"I’ve thrown away so much! Trying this," one wrote.
"I just threw out a bunch yesterday, who knew?" another added.
"I just threw out a ton of dried Play-Doh today!" a third sighed.
"That’s something I needed to know at the beginning of the school year!" someone else insisted.
"Thanks for sharing!" another gushed.
"The amount of Play-Doh I've thrown out!"
"I so needed to see this!!!!!" someone else said.
"Thank you. Great to know," another praised.
As someone else wrote: "That's a super great tip, thank you!"
"The amount of tubs I've thrown not knowing this!" another added.
However, other parents insisted the hack wouldn't work in their house.
"I’ve never seen dried playdoh that’s it’s in its original colour!" one wrote.
"It's.. it's not grey!" another laughed.

"not dry, but all mixed together horribly so now all 10 pots are a dirty green," a third sighed.
As someone else joked: "Shhh... don't tell my kids, they'll just throw it around and I say 'it dried' as the reason to not be finding and stepping on it all week long!"
