I’m over 50 & things went south years ago but the girls are girling in my shapewear – I want to wear it for date night
A MIDDLE-AGED fashionista was getting a busty confidence boost from her shapewear.
The hot mama who no longer had to worry about a muffin top came up with some of her own creative ideas for how to wear the form-fitting look.
"Now you already know I don't like shapewear, you know I don't," said Faith Fess (@faithfessel).
It seemed however that she was starting to reshape her thoughts on shapewear as she paired the support offering garment with jeans and a sweater.
"I was like, wait, I could wear this as a top cause my boobs are boobing - and they went south years ago," she said.
The 59-year-old Faith, who was feeling herself in the form-fitting look, was especially impressed with the underwire.
Despite being double-thick, she didn't think that the shapewear felt like shapewear and even turned around to show the flat back.
And Faith's ideas for the flattering piece kept flowing.
"I'm going to put that dress back on with this shapewear. I don't even want to call it shapewear, I'm going to wear it as a bodysuit, that's why I put this sweater on.
"I said oh no, gal, you're getting ready to wear this for date night," she said.
She was already a big fan of the busty boost it was giving her.
"That is super comfortable. It is smooth. And the girls are girling," she said.
Her own fans were certainly loving the look.
"You are too cute," said one follower.
"You go girl," said another viewer.
According to AARP, one of the most preferred shapewear designs for women over 50 includes a medium compression bodysuit from Assets by Spanx that sells for $38 at Target.
The ultra-firm bodysuit is described as offering a lightweight, dig-free construction for all-day comfort and support.
