I draw random dots above my eyebrows – people say they look like slug antennas but I don’t care, I want them tattooed

A WOMAN has divided opinion after revealing how she's drawn dots above her eyebrows for six months and is hoping to have them tattooed on.

In a clip posted to TikTok (@snjessica3), she can be seen clearing it up once and for all and responds to a social media user who commented: "Intrigued what the dots are on your eyebrows? Are they symbolism for something?"

She explains: "So the dots are not symbolic or have any symbolism to anything, I just basically really like them.

"I like them being there...I like having them as an extra feature on my face.

"The whole reason why I draw them on and why they are drawn on at the moment with eyeliner, is because I want them tattooed.

"I think I've been doing it [drawing them on] for over like 6 months now and it all started because obviously I like them.

"I was just playing around and I started doing them and I really liked the look of them and I decided I want them tattooed."

However, she goes on to say that her boyfriend warned her that having a tattoo on her face is a big commitment because they're "always going to be there" and "people are always going to look."

He recommended she just draws them on for now to see how she gets on with them and if after several months she likes them, then it may be worth speaking to a tattoo artist to see if they can do it.

"I know some tattoo artists are a bit funny about doing tattoos on the face as well and I'm not fully or heavily covered either," she says.

"I know they're only small, but that is basically the reason why they're there at the moment.

"In time, I'm hoping to get them tattooed at some point.

"I don't really want to rush it because like I said, it will be permanent.

"They will never come off unless I got them getting lasered, so for the time being they are drawn on and it's just an extra feature I like doing."

She continues: "I just think it makes my face look nice - that's the main reason.

"Nothing other than I just like how they look and I think they're really cute and they look cool, well, on me anyway."

However, she goes onto say that she's fully aware than not everyone would agree.

"I guess that's just other people's opinion," she says.

"But I do like the look of them and how they are."

It wasn't long before the post went viral, garnering a whopping 393k views and several comments - with very mixed responses.

"From someone who loved their finger tattoos for YEARS & now detests them but has to see them everyday please just keep drawing them on ," wrote one.

A second penned: "They look like little slug antennas but cute."

A third advised: "Get them tattooed at a place that does semi permanent freckles/ beauty spots & if you want them removed in the future you could get a saline removal."

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "I mean they actually look cool and suit you but permanently - what if you get bored of them?"

Another suggested: "I wonder if you could get them tattooed with semi permanent ink, like microbladed eyebrows? So it’s less of a commitment."

A further added: "I think this is power yet yet so beautifully simple. Really individualistic, I absolutely love this!!"

And one more chimed in: "They’re so cute. i did this with dots on the inner corners of my eyes and got them tattooed three years ago and still love them."
