SOCIAL MEDIA
While the duo are both active on their Instagram accounts, they rarely post about each other.
Ruth's most recent uploads have centred on her return to ITV daytime show Loose Women and her QVC clothing lines.
While she posts plentiful snaps and videos of her mum, Eamonn is usually nowhere to be seen.
In July 2022, he made an appearance in a video posted to her page,to promote her Feeling Fabulous event.
Meanwhile, Eamonn's Instagram grid shows a similar story.
It is filled with family snaps as well as insights into life in a TV newsroom, yet Ruth - who he affectionately terms Ruthie - is rarely featured.
PIC WITH NEW WOMAN
Eamonn's recent image with Linda Lusardi also sparked concern from fans.
The 64-year-old shared a snap with the actress and TV presenter - showing fans snaps of their friendship spanning more than three decades.
In his caption, he wrote: "1982 v 2024 and she hasn’t changed a bit . My wonderful, close friend Linda Lusardi who I went to see today 42yr friendship x"

ILL HEALTH
Ruth appeared to hint at struggles caring for Eamonn's numerous health issues of late.
She was forced to clarify a comment about being "fed up" with her spouse amid his struggles - which have seen him in a wheelchair and on crutches.
It came after a remark Eamonn made on his GB News breakfast show.
He said: "I think my family are a bit fed up with me now.
"The kids are a bit embarrassed about how I move around or don't move around, and Ruth's getting a bit fed up with me."
Ruth took the opportunity to clarify the comments on ITV daytime show Loose Women, which she often hosts.
She said: "I thought, well, I am and I'm not. Do you know what I mean? It's human.
"You can't help, but when you're helping someone all the time and they’re very incapacitated it’s hard to be Florence Nightingale all the time."
