My hair was thinning until I started using two Boots buys – now it’s so thick and shiny, I can’t believe the difference
LUCIOUS locks are often considered a woman’s crowning glory, so it can be heartbreaking when your hair suddenly starts to disappear.
After noticing her hair was starting to thin, one woman set out to heal her hair and has managed to dramatically change her look with just two products.
Like many women, Sophia Simoes was proud of her long, dark locks and would show them off on social media.
As she excitedly prepared for the start of university, things dramatically began to change though.
Not only did her hair start to thin, it would fall out too causing the the-then student to cut it short to make appear thicker – but this didn’t help.
Growing increasingly concerned for her hair, she sought medical advice and after a barrage of blood tests she was later diagnosed with anaemia.

With her body unable to produce enough red blood cells, the condition had taken an effect on Sophia’s body and most notably her hair.
Thankfully, the 2018 diagnosis also helped her find a solution to regaining her hair with two simple items she found on the high street.
In addition to what her GP had recommended, the now 25-year-old began taking iron supplements which dramatically helped her hair loss.
Three years on, the partnership executive shared her progress on Tiktok and revealed how healthy her locks now look – with them looking naturally thick and lush.
Her story is an important reminder that any sudden changes might be a warning sign about your health and it’s best to chat to your GP rather than ignore them.
If you are struggling with anaemia, your doctor may recommend that you also start iron supplements and you can pick up 60 14mg at Boots for just £3.40.
Just be sure to check with your physician that they are the right strength for you before you start taking them.
For those still struggling with hair loss, you can compliment any medication with hair-thickening treatments – just like Sophia did.
As she revealed in her viral Tiktok, the content creator used rosemary oil to help her hair bounce back after it thinned.
Studies have found that the essential oil can help strengthen circulation and could in turn prevent hair follicles from not having enough blood supply.
It is also said to help with premature graying and dandruff, which can also heavily impact your hair health.
Even better you can pick up a bottle of Rosemary oil for just £6 at Boots, with a dropper so you easily apply it to your roots for maximum effect.
Sophia also recommends reducing the amount of heat you apply to your hair to protect the delicate strands – especially before starting any of these at-home-treatments.

Whilst effects might vary from person to person, Sophia has been amazed by the results and told her Tiktok followers: “Now, my hair is finally back to what it once was.”
£9.40 for luscious locks, seems like a done deal to us!
