Inside Coronation Street star Paula Lane’s incredible Yorkshire home that she ‘hated for years’ as she joins Emmerdale
PAULA Lane is swapping the Coronation Street cobbles for the village of Emmerdale.
It was revealed last week that the actress, who was last seen in Corrie in 2016 when her character Kylie Platt was murdered, will join Emmerdale as Ella Forster.
But whether she's in the Dales or Weatherfield, Paula, 37, has a stunning home to return to after work.
The soap star regularly shares snaps of her house on social media, revealing its rustic charm.
Festive photos posted on Instagram show Paula's Christmas tree against her exposed brick walls.
She also has glittering fairy lights hung around her cottage-style windows.

And Paula's home even has a real fire - perfect for her adorable pooch to lounge in front of.
But there was a part of the house she hated for nine years and previously shared snaps of her new flooring.
She wrote: "Thank you for bringing our floors back to life @woodfloorsanding_leeds. Amazing job and I'm completely in love with them after hating it for 9 years!!!"
Paula is married to fellow actor and former Coronation Street star Tom Shaw and they share son Arthur and daughter Penny.

Speaking about her new role, Paula said: "I'm so excited to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. Everyone has been so welcoming and I can't wait to start a new chapter playing the role of Ella.
"I've already heard there are big plans for her and I can't wait to see her navigate a new life in the village and hopefully make some friends!”
