I didn’t have time to wash my son’s basketball jersey – my $1 dryer trick totally absorbs the odor, even on the armpits
A MOM has shown a useful dryer trick that completely removes the odor in her son's sports jersey.
Sometimes she doesn't have time to wash it fully, but it works in record time thanks to a cheap cleaning hack.
Hairstylist Susan (@susandoingsusanthings) likes to share herself doing things she loves.
She told them about an affordable laundry tip that can be done without washing your clothes.
She admitted that she forgot to wash her son's basketball jersey ahead of his game and had "zero time" to make the video.
"Okay, so baking soda is our best friend. So, this jersey is dry, and what I'm gonna do is just sprinkle some baking soda," she explained.

She drizzled it all over the garment, especially around the armpit area, which has the most odor.
Susan then rubbed it together to get it into the fabric.
"Then, get yourself just a wet washcloth towel. Whatever you need. Just get this nice and wet. You're gonna throw this combo in your dryer," she detailed.
Baking soda normally retails for about $1 and can be found at your local grocery store, but you may already have it in your home.
Good & Gather Baking Soda can be found on the Target website for $0.99.
"Baking soda. It absorbs all the stink," she added.
After tossing it in the dryer for almost 30 minutes, she took it out as a "moment of truth."
She gave it two thumbs up of approval that the trick worked to remove the smell from her son's clothing.
She wrote in the video caption that it never lets her down.
She added that the budget-friendly item is great "in a pinch if you can’t get things washed."
