THIS stadium is in complete shock. Fraser Forster has handed not just one but TWO goals back to Manchester United.

Three-nil up and cruising, Forster tried to play out from the back as his manager wants him to but got it all wrong.

First, his weak, simple, short pass to Radu Dragusin went straight to Bruno Fernandes who teed up sub Joshua Zirkzee to reduce the deficit.

Then, remarkably, Forster had a free-kick played back to him by Archie Gray and despite having acres of space, his touch was heavy and his attempted clearance was deflected into his own net by another sub, Amad Diallo, closing him down.

No one could believe it including Ange Postecoglou who had his head in his hands.

Ex-Spurs stopper Kasey Keller, who told SunSport this weekend that Postecoglou was wrong to make Forster to play out from the back given it is not his natural game, must have been wincing somewhere.

Suddenly, this game has an incredible tension for its denouement when it never needed to.

Half-time and Ruben Amorim has it all to do here. It is only 1-0 thanks to Dominic Solanke’s opener.

But scoring goals has been a real issue for Manchester United this season, with just four other teams in the Premier League netting fewer than their paltry 21.

Still, this is a cup game and with Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs side, you know you are always going to get chances.

Amorim’s side are going to have to do it without Victor Lindelof though, who went off injured just before the break and replaced by veteran Jonny Evans.

Victor Lindelof injured

Manchester United's injury hoodoo continues with Victor Lindelof hobbling off the pitch.

Lindelof walked straight down the tunnel with tears in his eyes.

The centre-back is replaced by Jonny Evans.

Ange Postecoglou had asked Tottenham fans to create a buzzing atmosphere and they have been playing their part.

Though there were still some chants in the South Stand against chairman Daniel Levy, including the new ditty ‘I don’t care about Levy, he don’t care about me, all I care about is Kulusevski’.

United’s travelling supporters have also made their feelings known to their own persona non grata.

A banner reading ‘Excuses, ta ra Marcus’ has been unveiled in the direction of wantaway Marcus Rashford, who did not travel with Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Yellow balloons were released early on in the game too by some Spurs fans as part of the Bring Emily Home campaign.

It refers to British Tottenham fan Emily Damari who is still held hostage in Gaza since the October 7 attack last year.

The Carabao Cup semi-final draw will start at around 10.30pm GMT.

The draw will take place after the quarter-final clash between Tottenham and Manchester United.

Tottenham drew first blood in the 15th minute with Dominic Solanke.

Pedro Porro tried his luck from outside the box and Man Utd goalkeeper Altay Bayindir parried it but back into the danger area.

Solanke was there to slot home and send the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium wild.
