THIAGO SILVA will leave Chelsea at the end of this season, according to reports.
The 39-year-old defender will become a free agent when his contract expires in June.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims Silva has received interest from Fluminense but is keeping his option open.
The Brazilian joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020 and has since made 149 appearances.
He won the Champions League with the Blues at the end of his first season at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea fans have been left devastated by the news of Silva's departure.
One person took to X to write: "One of the best Center backs to ever play for us 💙 Wish he joined earlier in his career."
Another commented: "One of the best free agents ever in football. Thanks for everything, Thiago Silva."
A third said: "On behalf of all Chelsea fans worldwide we celebrate you, legend. We are very proud to have you and your family, such a passionate family. Wish you best in your future."
A fourth wrote: "This is a very sad news to all Chelsea fans."
While a fifth added: "He deserves a big farewell, a football legend and we had the privilege to see him at Chels for many years. Wish him all the best."
