You don’t have to wonder what is hitting the middle aisle though, as we’ve listed some of the best picks below.

With Spring officially sprung, the German store has a wide range of gardening essentials this Thursday (April 4) and Sunday (April 7).

These are part of the supermarket’s Specialbuys which are limited-time offers across a wide range of products which are only available in limited quantities.

With these items only available in the middle aisle for a short time, it’s not surprising that most will fly on shelves in a matter of days.

ROOTS & BLOOMS CLIMBING PLANTS (£1.89)

After a long, damp winter most gardens could do with a little bit of a makeover right now.

Rather than spending ages planting flower beds though, Aldi has fast-growing climbing plants on sale for less than £2 each (yes, you read that right).

Choose from Lathyrus, Clematis, Pyracantha or sweet-smelling Honeysuckle which will add beautiful hues of reds, pinks and purples to your outdoor space.

Not bad for plants that cost just £1.89 each.

While you are making over your outdoor space, you could also add these stunning trellises which feature a square scroll or songbird pattern.
