DANCING on Ice viewers have been left shocked as the first celebrity was voted out after a tense skate off.
The second live show of the new series saw the remaining six celebrities take to the ice with their first routines.
When they were finished, comedian Lou Sanders found themselves in the skate off against boxer Ricky Hatton, who was placed there after the first show last week.
The two celebrities took to the ice one more time with their pro partners before the judges made their decision.
Ricky danced to If I Can Dream by Elvis Presley while Lou performed again to Try by Pink.
In the end, the ice panel decided to save Lou and send Ricky home.

He said: "I'm gutted to be going home, I've tried to be a winner all my life in everything I've done. It's been a while since I saw the second round.
"I've had a great time, I've met some wonderful friends, I'd like to thank Robin for all her hard work, the coaches for all their hard work."
He added that despite his early exit, he would be "going home happy".
Dancing on Ice viewers took to X - formerly Twitter - to discuss the outcome.
One wrote: "Lou shouldn't have been in the skate-off in the first place!"
Another added: "Aw Ricky his improvement was huge so should be proud."
A third tweeted: "Glad Lou is through. Kind of surprised that they didn't vote Ricky though like they did Bez."
Dancing on Ice airs Sundays on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
