Luke Littler’s sister posts emotional message to 16-year-old sensation after World Darts Championship final heartbreak
LUKE LITTLER’S sister has posted an emotional message after the 16-year-old’s darts final heartbreak.
Littler was 4-2 up against namesake Luke Humphries before missing a dart for his fifth set.
And he ended up crashing to a 7-4 defeat in his first-ever World Darts Championship appearance.
Despite finishing runner-up, Littler has pocketed a cool £200,000.
He still has his whole career ahead of him after knocking out icons like Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld.
And even new world No1 player Humphries predicts that Littler will go on to dominate the sport.

In the meantime, the youngster has been consoled by friends and family members.
Littler’s girlfriend Eloise Milburn was on hand to comfort him at the Ally Pally last night.
And now his sister Caitlin has posted an emotional message on social media.
She wrote: “So unbelievably proud of what you have achieved, absolutely unreal.
“You went into this only wanting to win one game to then make it to the finals on your debut at 16 is the biggest achievement!
“We all love you so much, now time to chill and enjoy yourself.”
Reflecting on his incredible WDC debut, Littler said: “The one negative was I lost too many legs on my throw.
“Luke would break me, then hold, and I’d be 2-0 down. Fair play to Luke, he deserves it.
“I’ve got to the final, I might not get to another final for the next five to 10 years, we don’t know.
“But I can say I’m a runner-up and now I just want to go and win it.”
