Hong Kong national security police arrest 2 for alleged sedition after forged death will

Hong Kong national security police have arrested two people in connection with a recent suicide case.

The force said on Saturday the man and woman, aged 41 and 28 respectively, were apprehended for allegedly acting with a seditious intent and contravening Section 24 of the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance.

Initial investigations showed that the woman had forged a will in a recent suicide case, while the man was found to have placed mourning lamps at various places, inciting public hatred against the local and the central governments.
