  • Betis 'fight to renew Antony loan'

    Real Betis are desperate to keep loan sensation Antony next season.

    But Manchester United would reportedly prefer to sell the Brazil winger.

    The 25-year-old's transfer value has shot up following his brilliant LaLiga form.

    And United believe they can cash in on him.

    Betis CEO Ramon Alarcon says his club are prepared to look elsewhere unless the Red Devils agree another temporary switch.

    That's hardly a threat, however, because Antony has plenty of admirers.

    Alarcón spoke to El Desmarque [via SportWitness] and opened up on Antony’s progress at the club. The Betis CEO insisted that they have taken good care of the United loanee, who is very happy in Spain.

  • 'Red Devils lead Mbeumo hunt'

    Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle.

    But it's claimed the Red Devils are favourites to land the 25-year-old Cameroonian.

    United are also keen on Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha.

    And both Mbeumo and Cunha appear certain to move before the start of next season.

    Areal are also said to be keen on Cunha.

  • Delap 'would prefer Arsenal or Chelsea to Utd'

    Arsenal are reportedly ever more keen on Ipswich striker Liam Delap.

    A host of Prem giants have been linked with the 22-year-old Englishman, including Chelsea.

    But it's claimed tonight the Gunners have been firming up their interest.

    It's already been suggested Delap would rather join one of the London giants than Manchester United.

    The former Manchester City starlet, who has 12 England Under-21 caps, joined now-relegated Ipswich last summer.

  • 'Yoro wants Real move'

    Reports in Spain claim Leny Yoro wants to join Real Madrid - just a year after joining Manchester United.

    Defensa Central suggest the former Lille centre-back, 19, "regrets" his transfer to Old Trafford.

    Yoro is understood to have been on Real's list last summer before he opted for United.

    Defensa Central even say the Frenchman has asked his agent Jorge Mendes to "try" to help him sort out a switch.

    However, there is no indication that United want to sell Yoro.

  • Red Devils linked to keeper reunion

    Torino's Vanja Milinkovic-Savic has leapt up the goalkeeping options for Manchester United.

    That's according to transfer experts transfer insiders Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano.

    They claim the Red Devils have had “exploratory contacts” over recruiting the 28-year-old Serb.

    Milinkovic-Savic actually began his senior career at Old Trafford in 2014 and has one year left on his Torino contract.

  • Utd legend 'gutted' to miss Arsenal tie

    Rio Ferdinand has posted a picture from a hospital bed to explain he'll miss presenting TNT Sports' Champions League coverage tonight.

    The Manchester United legend is "gutted" he won't see PSG vs Arsenal first hand.

    Ferdinand was seen with a band around his wrist as he posted a health update.

    Alongside the photo he wrote: "Gutted to be missing the Semi-Finals this week on @footballontnt!!"

    "Wishing the team all the best — I’ll be watching every minute from the iPad!"

    TNT Sports replied to the post by saying: "Get well soon, Rio."

  • Red Devils tipped to complete £4m Leon deal

    Left-back Diego Leon could be United’s first summer signing.

    The Paraguayan, 18, is likely to cost around £4million from home country club Cerro Porteno.

    It’s claimed Leon will formally join next month – once his domestic season is finished.

    The Red Devils could pay out an initial £3.1m – with at least £800,000 in add-ons.

  • Amass appeal

    Harry Amass is tipped as next in line from United's academy for a new contract.

    The defender has impressed after boss Ruben Amorim drafted him to train with the first-team squad.

    Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven have made their senior debuts under Amorim.

    And Jack Moorhouse is thought to be close to a call-up.

    Manchester United are reportedly in the race for Bayer Leverkusen star Jonathan Tah.

    The Red Devils will face competition from a host of Europe’s top clubs, also in contention for the Germany international.

    The 29-year-old will leave Leverkusen on a free this summer with his contract set to expire.

    Emmanuel Petit has claimed that Manchester United do not deserve to play Champions League football next season if they win the Europa League.

    He told FastSlots: "Tottenham and Manchester United both have the chance to save terrible seasons in the Europa League, but does either side deserve to play in the Champions League next season?

    "Absolutely not. Both teams don't deserve to be among the Champions League teams for the next season."

  • 'Bilbao more important' - Amorim

    Ruben Amorim has claimed that Thursday's clash against Athletic Bilbao is the club's "most important" match.

    Speaking after the 4-3 loss to Brentford, he said: "I think it's stressful to lose games.

    "When we're fighting for a title it's not stressful.

    "I have no doubts that we are playing better and we are understanding the way we play, even in this context.

    "So we have to take all the hits in this moments.

    "We are losing games in the Premier League, but we are fighting for the Europa League so we need to accept that and to think about now Thursday which is the most important game for us."

    Ruben Amorim has explained why he made eight changes to the team ahead of the defeat to Brentford.

    He said: "We, as a club, need to understand in this moment that we have a big responsibility [to win the Europa League].

    "We have to prepare a squad for different competitions."

    While Manchester United's main aim will be to win the Europa League, there are still some matches left in the Premier League.

    The Red Devils still have three league games to play with fellow strugglers West Ham on Sunday.

    The club then face Chelsea before finishing the season with Aston Villa.

    Negotiations are moving so fast that Brazil international and Wolves star Matheus Cunha is now "very close" to becoming a Manchester United player.

    United have reportedly decided to pay Cunha's release clause after agreeing personal terms.

    According to Relevo, Man Utd intend to pay Cunha's asking price, which is worth a reported €62.5million (£53.6m).

    The forward is keen to move to Old Trafford as he has reached a verbal agreement with the Red Devils.

    "I want Bruno here because we want to win the Premier League again, so we want the best players to continue with us.

    "He's 30, but he's still so young, because he plays 55 games every season.

    "Between assists and goals, he's there for 30 at least, so he's the type of player we want here and he's not going anywhere."

    Bruno Fernandes has received a mega-money offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, according to reports.

    The Manchester United captain was first approached by the club last year before he signed a new contract at Old Trafford that runs until 2027.

    But the Saudis have not given up on bringing Fernandes to the Middle East and they have supposedly put money on the table.

    Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Al-Hilal are ready to pay him a staggering £65million per season on a three-year deal.

    Fernandes has not yet responded and Man Utd do not want to sell their star man.

    Manchester United trio Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray and James Nolan are reportedly set to leave the club.

    MEN has claimed that the three will not be offered new contracts at the club.

    All three will see their deals expire at Old Trafford.
