Alarcón spoke to El Desmarque [via SportWitness] and opened up on Antony’s progress at the club. The Betis CEO insisted that they have taken good care of the United loanee, who is very happy in Spain.
Emmanuel Petit has claimed that Manchester United do not deserve to play Champions League football next season if they win the Europa League.
He told FastSlots: "Tottenham and Manchester United both have the chance to save terrible seasons in the Europa League, but does either side deserve to play in the Champions League next season?
"Absolutely not. Both teams don't deserve to be among the Champions League teams for the next season."
Ruben Amorim has claimed that Thursday's clash against Athletic Bilbao is the club's "most important" match.
Speaking after the 4-3 loss to Brentford, he said: "I think it's stressful to lose games.
"When we're fighting for a title it's not stressful.
"I have no doubts that we are playing better and we are understanding the way we play, even in this context.
"So we have to take all the hits in this moments.
"We are losing games in the Premier League, but we are fighting for the Europa League so we need to accept that and to think about now Thursday which is the most important game for us."
Wayne Rooney has insisted that Manchester United's success in the Europa League is distracting from the disaster in the Premier League.
He said on MOTD: "I think the second team [United's U-21s] are playing a back four which I found strange because the second team, a lot of those players will be playing in the first team. "
Athletic Bilbao have been dealt some major injury concerns ahead of the Europa League semi-final second leg against Manchester United tomorrow.
The LaLiga outfit could be without star winger Nico Williams and full-back Oscar De Marcos.
Manager Ernesto Valverde said: "We have to see how De Marcos is after the other day and Nico, who won't be able to play because he's not well, having had this groin pain for a while."
Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray and James Nolan are set to leave United this summer.
Kingdon, pictured below, Murray and Nolan are out of contract at the end of the season and are set to depart after not being offered fresh terms at United, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Ruben Amorim has already made his stance on the future of Bruno Fernandes known.
When asked about interest from Real Madrid in March, the Man Utd boss said: "No, it's not going to happen. He's not going anywhere because I've already told him.
"I want Bruno here because we want to win the Premier League again, so we want the best players to continue with us.
"He's 30, but he's still so young, because he plays 55 games every season.
"Between assists and goals, he's there for 30 at least, so he's the type of player we want here and he's not going anywhere."
