Cassie Plummer turns violent as she sets her sights on Kevin Webster in Coronation Street
ABI Webster's marriage with Kevin is on the line in an upcoming trip to the cobbles.
Coronation Street troublemaker Cassie Plummer takes violent action to get what she wants. How will Abi respond?
Cassandra Plummer (portrayed by Claire Sweeney) has been trying to find her mark in the ITV cobbles.
But while in Weatherfield, the budding mechanic has not only managed to rekindle her relationships with her son Tyrone and her mother Evelyn, she has also found a new love interest in the form of Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell).
However, Kevin is no free agent as he's been married to Abi Webster (Sally Carman) for several years.
This won't be stopping Cassie in the slightest as, in a future Corrie instalment, she acts on impulse and chooses violence.
More Corrie
Coming up, at the garage, Cassie offers Kevin her heartfelt thanks for giving her a second chance.
Citing her forgiveness of Cassie, Kevin praises Abi’s ability to do right by others, regardless of her own feelings.
Conflicted, Abi makes out she’s been called on a breakdown and hurries off as Cassie watches with interest.
Abi meets drug dealer Dean Turnbull (Anthony Crank) and buys some benzos, unaware of someone photographing the exchange - could it be Cassie?
What Kevin and Cassie may be completely unaware of is that Abi could be trying to help another Weatherfield resident.
Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) earlier this year, after he was hit by a van driven by a drug-fuelled Carla Connor.
In upcoming scenes, Paul asks Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) to help him end his life when the time comes.
As Todd refuses, Paul accepts it’s too much to ask but explains he’s terrified of becoming a hostage inside his own body.
A sympathetic Todd takes Paul to the surgery where Paul makes out he’s in great pain and needs morphine.
Knowing Paul could be up to no good, Todd is relieved when a Dr Gaddas refuses to prescribe it.
Later in the Rovers, Abi overhears Paul complaining to Todd that he couldn’t get a prescription for morphine and empathises.
