Patricia recently addressed the rumours that there might be a reboot of Home Improvement in the future.

Her on-screen husband Tim Allen had suggested that there may be a new series in the works, but she shot him down, accusing him of "lying to people".

She did not mince her words, adding: "It was so weird, I would hear on Twitter or whatever that [Allen] was coming out publicly and saying this stuff about how everyone was on board to do a Home Improvement reunion.

"But he never asked me, and he never asked Jonathan [Taylor Thomas, who played middle child Randy].

"I called Jonathan one day, I said, 'Has he asked you about this?'' And he went, 'No,' and I was like why is he going around telling everybody that we're all on board when he hasn't talked to you or me. I think that's weird."
