Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Zirkzee ‘wanted by Italian giants’, Delap EXCLUSIVE, Hojlund’s future ‘uncertain’

  • Red Devils could sell Antony to Betis rival

Real Betis face missing out to a LaLiga rival for Manchester United loanee Antony.

That's the claim from Spain despite Betis' hunger to keep the Brazil winger.

Antony, 25, has been in sensational form since departing Old Trafford.

He's notched eight goals and two assists in 23 matches for Betis.

But the Spanish top-flight club are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.

And that could reportedly tip the balance in favour of a LaLiga rival.

  • Striker target is told: Don't be a Devil

Ipswich striker Liam Delap has been advised against signing for Manchester United.

Delap is at the centre of a multi-club transfer scramble following relegation.

And United have been strongly tipped to lead the way for the 22-year-old.

But ex-England and Aston Villa frontman Gabriel Agbonlahor reckons WEST HAM would be a far better option.

Agbonlahor believes the former England Under-21 ace should take time to develop his game – before risking the cauldron of a club like the Red Devils.

He said: “If I was him, I wouldn’t be going there.

“I wouldn’t stay at Ipswich, I’d go to West Ham, go and prove yourself at West Ham, the next step.

“They need a striker, Evan Ferguson will go back to Brighton, it hasn’t worked out.”

But GiveMeSport claim United are weighing up a summer swoop.

  • Rasmus oversteps the mark with kit violation

Chelsea's Premier League match with Manchester United was temporarily stopped due to an unexpected kit violation.

Red Devils hitman Rasmus Hojlund was the guilty party in the second half of the Stamford Bridge showdown on Friday night, which Chelsea won 1-0.

The Denmark international returned to the pitch after the second-half interval wearing what appeared to be a fitness tracker.

Hojlund's wearing of the device didn't go unnoticed, with the referee Chris Kavanagh briefly halting the game and instructing him to remove it.

And the Dane couldn't help but laugh as he made his way to the touchline to hand over the device.

The bizarre incident stunned footie fans, who flocked to X to give their thoughts.

  • Final excitement builds as Amorim shrugs off pressure

United minds are already switching to next Wednesday's Europa League final.

Boss Ruben Amorim said: "Of course, we are excited to be in the final.

"Since day one the pressure has been there but I live quite well with the pressure.

"When you have the final of any cup, we show up so we are prepared for that."

  • Ruben relieved at no injuries

Relief probably dominated Ruben Amorim's thinking - despite yet another Prem defeat.

United face Tottenham in Wednesday's Europa League final.

And after the 1-0 loss at Champions League hopefuls Chelsea, Amorim said: "We have to prepare for each competition, with five days, we can rest.

"We have five days to prepare [for the Europa League final], two days to fully recover and then two days to prepare.

"In the end I looked at all the players and I think they are ok."

  • 'We lacked aggression' says Amorim

Ruben Amorim reckons his United side were unlucky in their 1-0 loss at Chelsea - but lacked "aggression".

Amorim told the BBC's Match of the Day: "I think we started great.

"But in the final third we needed to be a bit more aggressive. "

He added: "It was a bit of bad luck today. Sometimes we want to press and to score a goal but we lost a little bit of concentration.

"It was different but you never like when you lose the game. We were competitive, that was clear."
