I’m 54 & have the best drugstore anti-aging skincare routine you’ll find – you only need 5 products & 2 are from CeraVe
A 54-YEAR-OLD shared the drugstore skincare products she swears by.
She revealed her affordable but effective five-step anti-aging routine.
Cristina (@cristina.noh) shared the beauty recommendations in a TikTok video.
"Top drugstore pics for a complete skin care regimen for morning and nighttime anti-aging skincare routine," she said.
Due to the actives in the products, she recommended those under 25 years old to steer clear.
To wash her face in the morning and at night, she used the $16 Cerave Foaming Cleanser.
In the morning, she applied the "innovative" $28 Olay Super Serum that contained the key to her wrinkle prevention.
"It's got vitamin C, a stabilized niacinamide so it's going to get you that collagen buildup, it's got peptides, it's got vitamin E, and it has AHAs in it," she explained.
"This one serum will be your entire set of actives in the morning and then you just moisturize with lotion."
She followed up the serum with the $18 Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion.
"This has the three ceramides you need to make sure that, if you're just starting on a skincare routine, it's feeding your barrier," she said.
At night, she went back to the same Cerave cleanser and alternated the $22 L'Oreal 10% Glycolic Face Serum for exfoliation and the $34 No7 Pure Retinol 1% serum for cell turnover.
"The routine is so simple and again, add your moisturizer. This is such an effective routine with so few products," she said.
"If you're over 25 and looking for a really good drugstore routine, this is it."
Viewers thanked her for breaking the skincare routine down into digestible and simple morsels.
"Thanks. So many products on the market. Gets confusing," said one commenter.
"I love this. I am not going to do a million steps! This I can do," said another.
"Love how you give us options that are affordable," agreed a third.
