My hair’s been my biggest insecurity for years – my routine finally made it grow, there’s an irreplaceable product
AFTER feeling bad about the way her hair looked for years, a beauty influencer has finally figured out how to make her locks grow.
She swore by a single product that she said she couldn't live without.
Kate (@katebartlett) shared the routine with over 1.4 million TikTok followers.
She showed off her hair's growth progress in just a year and explained that she took various steps to heal her ends, such as cutting back on heat.
"I used to use a lot of heat tools that you can't control the temperature on," she said.
"Instead, now I just blow dry my hair with a regular hair dryer and while it's wet, I drench it with this," she added, holding up Color Wow Dream Coat, $28, an anti-frizz spray with heat protectant.
"I rarely find a product that I feel like I can't replace and this is one of them," she said. "Truly nothing like it, I love it."
Product-wise, the influencer also switched over to Ouai's shampoo, $32, and conditioner, $32, on her medium hair, which has helped her wash her hair less.
"I used to wash my hair every other day and now I try to wash it every three to four days, makes a huge difference in how fast your hair grows," she explained.
For self-care days, she liked to treat herself with Ouai's hair mask, $38, and some rosemary oil.
"This has biotin in it and it really encourages growth and I just drop it in my hairline," she said.
Last but not least, she incorporated Wellbel hair growth supplements into her diet.
"I definitely do see a difference and I really like these," she said.
