A 49-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering two women and trying to kill two other people, including his son, in Milton Keynes on Christmas Day last year.
Jazwell Brown will serve a minimum term of 39 years after being sentenced at Luton crown court on Tuesday. He had pleaded guilty to murdering his partner, Joanne Pearson, and his neighbour Teohna Grant in the attack, and the attempted murder of his son, Jake, and Grant’s partner, Bradley Latter.
Thames Valley police were called to a block of flats on Santa Cruz Avenue, the street where Brown lived, in Bletchley at about 6.30pm on Christmas Day after reports of a stabbing.
