Fiji rugby star Api Ratuniyarawa admits sexually assaulting three women in nightclub
RUGBY star Api Ratuniyarawa has confessed to sexually assaulting three women.
The Barbarians lock, 37, pleaded guilty to a trio of charges made against him while appearing at Cardiff Crown Court.
Ratuniyarawa admitted two counts of assault by penetration, in addition to one of sexual assault.
The attacks took place at Revolution in the Welsh capital between October 31 and November 1.
He had been set to take on Wales with the Barbarians at Principality Stadium on November 4, but was a late scratch from the line-up following the charges brought against him.
At the time, a Barbarians statement read: "As soon as we were contacted by South Wales Police we cooperated fully, assisting them with their inquiries.

"On their advice, we can’t comment any further as the investigation is ongoing."
Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke has extended Ratuniyarawa's bail after being told that he does not pose a flight risk.
His bail conditions dictate that he must report to Northampton police station every day, and that he must stay at home between 7pm and 7am.
Ratuniyarawa is set to be sentence on January 9.
In the meantime he is forbidden from entering Wales, while he also must not contact his victims.
The Fijian international played for Northampton Saints in the Premiership for six years between 2016 and 2022.
He then spent a year at London Irish prior to them going out of business over an unpaid tax bill last summer.
Ratuniyarawa has earned 38 caps for Fiji and played at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
