But not for this artist who has found a cheap way to dress up her baubles each year to fit the seasonal trend without spending a penny on new decks.
The content creator named @illustrious.andy on Tiktok shared her genius idea which gained over 1M likes and a mixed response from commenters.
In seconds she had transformed her traditional green baubles to a beautiful baby pink without much effort at all.

First she removes the clip from the top of each bauble and slots each bauble inside a pink balloon before popping the clip back into place to reveal a bauble with a whole new look.

This Christmas John Lewis has revealed some popular colour trends that include bold retro colours, as well as traditional jewel tones with plenty of gold.
The illustrious.andy's balloon idea generated a lot of feedback from commenters with some left totally inspired by the idea.
