I raced to B&M to snap up bits and bobs to help transform my tired-looking garden – the £12 buy was a ‘total steal’
IS your garden looking a little worse for wear following a winter of gusty winds and torrential downpours?
Well, according to one savvy homeowner, B&M is the place to be...as the high-street store is flogging several bargain buys that'll spruce up your outdoor haven in an instant.
In the clip posted to TikTok (@brittinmotherland), the woman named Britt begins: "Come to B&M with us to get some bits and bobs for our garden renovation."
She goes on to say how they've fully ripped their garden to pieces and are now on phase two of buying all the "faffy bits" to help give it a totally new lease of life.
First up, the bargain hunter shows off the 'large outdoor rug' which is 1.2 x 1.8m in size and comes in a stunning grey and white geometric pattern.
"Saw this garden rug and I was honestly like for £18 I'm having it," she says.

"They did have smaller ones that was like £12 as well.
"I might go back and get one of those but we just got the bigger one for now.
"I swear in Dunelm yesterday I saw garden rugs for like £60, so this was a steal!"
The weatherproof and hard wearing rug is a super quick and budget friendly way to add a touch of style to patios, decking and outdoor space.

Next up, Britt holds up a pair of durable £1.50 'fashion nitrile coated garden gloves in floral print' which are ideal for a wide range of gardening tasks.
"I picked up these little gloves which are super cute for the manual labour," she explains.
Not stopping there, she also notes how she's impressed by the great value of the two-pack 'vancouver zero gravity relaxers.'
"I'm sorry, but £55 for two of these is absolutely insane," she enthuses.
"I saw that it was £70 and then when I saw the big thing that said £55 I was like 'wow!'"
The online product description reads: "Designed for advanced comfort and relaxation, these chairs can be fully reclined so you can be at your most comfortable at all times.
"Thanks to its built-in zen balance mechanism, it feels like you're floating on air."
Moving on, Britt points out that she has a "really ugly wall" in her garden that she just wants to cover up.
"We're going to use some of this reed screening because there's nothing else we can do with it and this is kind of the best thing we can do at the moment," she explains.
The 'peeled reed screening,' which is 100 x 300cm in size and has currently been slashed to just £10, is the perfect way to create privacy in the garden, terrace or balcony in a natural and decorative way.
During her shopping trip, Britt also snapped up some solar lights.

Holding up a box of the 50 solar powered bulb string lights, she says: "I honestly had about 100 to choose from but I settled for this multi pack of 50 that was £20, and I just thought, 'that is a steal!'"
Showing off a selection of outdoor cushions and summery plates, she concludes: "They also have some really cute decor bits and I can't wait until we're at the point where we can start buying all of that stuff."
