I bought Urban Outfitter’s viral corset thinking I would look cute and dainty, my ‘quarterback shoulders’ let me down

A FASHIONISTA has gone viral on TikTok after sharing her failed purchase from Urban Outfitters.

She decided to buy a body-sculpting corset from the stylish clothing brand in the hopes of embracing the underwear as an outwear trend which is currently popular on social media.

Ana (@preorderedmilf29) shares her love of animals and quirky moments in her life with 79 followers on TikTok.

She took to the social media platform to vent her frustration after being disappointed with her latest shopping purchase.

She bought the ‘Out From Under Modern Love’ corset from Urban Outfitters which cost $59.

It comes in a selection of colors with sizes ranging from S to XL.

“Wanting the trending UO corset cuz everyone looks so cute and *dainty* in it,” read the text over the video.

Ana shared screenshots from the brand’s website to show how flattering the corset looked on the models.

Urban Outfitters styled the corset both with khaki cargo pants and high-waist pink pants.

“I’m gonna look so good in this,” the text continued over the video.

Ana then shared how the corset looked on her in comparison and described herself as having a “quarterback upper body.”

She looked peeved as she stood wearing the corset with a pair of gray pants in her bathroom.

She captioned the post: “Note to self to stop online shopping [clown].”

The video went viral with over 12,000 views and hundreds of likes from people who were able to relate to her situation.

Many commenters admitted they’ve struggled to find a corset that suits their figure.

“No, because this was me yesterday when I tried it on [crying],” one wrote.

“Stop LMFAO [laugh my fat a** off],” another said.

“It’s giving Luisa from Encanto haha,” a third commented in reference to the popular Disney movie.

The post comes after another TikToker revealed she gets unwanted attention when wearing corsets.

Ellie Millar (@elliemillar96), who has over 1.6 million followers, said people have slammed her decision to wear a corset on a night out.

She mocked women who don’t like her scantily clad outfits and held up a cardigan as she refused to cover up.

“Woman from the 1600s ‘you’re supposed to wear the corset UNDER your dress’,” the text over her video read.

“You look like a whore,” the text added.

Ellie proudly smiled as she pulled up her fashionable corset and continued to flaunt her figure.

“Thanks,” she said as if embracing the derogatory term as a compliment.
