But the home side hit back through Jørgen Strand Larsen two minutes later.

And any hopes of the game settling down were quickly dashed as Milos Kerkez thundered home a shot in the eighth minute to restore the lead for the visitors.

Kluivert then converted from 12 yards a second time ten minutes later to hand Andoni Iraola's side a 3-1 lead.

Both sides traded shots throughout the remainder of the first half and for much of the second.

Larsen and Kluivert both scored again after the break.

Kluivert's third strike came courtesy of Jose Sa giving away a penalty for the second time against Evanilson.

It was also a hat-trick of penalties won by Evanilson, their big-money signing from Porto in the summer.

The result left Wolves in the relegation zone, while Bournemouth shot up to 11th in the table.
