On his way into the Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) house, Mickey Rourke had an awkward encounter with host AJ Odudu — he ogled her so much she even said: "Stop looking at me."

AJ and co-host Will Best then had to physically escort the movie star into the CBB house — his slow pace was threatening to delay the live show.

Ahead of appearing on CBB, Mickey said: "I have no expectations. I’ve never seen it. I'm just going to go in, do my thing, and we'll see."

Below we take a look at the history of Mickey's cosmetic procedures...

1990s: Rhinoplasty, cheek implants and facial reconstruction

Mickey started his plastic surgery journey in the early 1990s.

Mickey began his career as a boxer before stepping away from the ring to launch an acting career in the 1970s.

After landing a slew of acting roles throughout the 1980s, Mickey decided take a break from Hollywood and go back to his first love — boxing.

However, pugilism took a toll on his good looks as he suffered a number of painful facial injuries that required reconstructive surgery.

These included two broken noses and a smashed cheekbone, as well as other facial damage.

He underwent five rhinoplasty surgeries during this period to reconstruct his nose using cartilage from his ear, and had operations to remove scar tissue that hindered healing.

According to his ex-wife Debra Feuer, he also had cheek implants at the start of the decade.

In 2009, she told the Mirror: "He'll kill me for saying this, but he wanted the part in one film so badly that he got cheek implants."

She continued: "He told me he was swollen because he'd had his molar teeth removed.

"But I knew that was untrue — he didn't have any molars to take out."

2009: Admission of botched surgeries

In 2009, Mickey told MailOnline: "Most of it was to mend the mess of my face because of the boxing, but I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together."

He added: "I had my nose broken twice. I had five operations on my nose and one on a smashed cheekbone.

"I had to have cartilage taken from my ear to rebuild my nose and a couple of operations to scrape out the cartilage because the scar tissue wasn't healing properly.

"That was one of the most painful operations, but the worst was haemorrhoids."

2010-2016: Facelifts and more cheek implants

During this period, Mickey underwent multiple facelifts to address sagging skin and maintain a youthful appearance.

Additionally, further cheek implants were added to restore lost volume and enhance facial structure.

2017: Rhinoplasty revisited

In 2017, Mickey shared an image of himself with a bandaged nose on Instagram after undergoing another rhinoplasty surgery.

He captioned the post: "Moments after nose surgery with Dr Dhir. Now I am pretty again (lol)... one more to go.

"I don't even know what day it is, don't even realise operation is over."

2020-present: Ongoing refinements

Between 2020 and 2022, Mickey reportedly continued refining his appearance through cosmetic interventions, including Botox injections and fillers on his lips, cheeks and forehead.

Non-surgical treatments like these generally aim to enhance facial contours and reduce wrinkles.

Mickey’s transformation remains a topic of discussion in recent years.

Reports suggest he underwent further aesthetic procedures to correct earlier surgeries and help maintain a youthful look.
