I got a £100 parking fine picking up my husband’s late night takeaway – I was mid-skincare & the pic has people howling

A LOVING wife has shared the moment she was slapped with a £100 parking fine for picking up her husband's takeaway - and was sent a mortifying pic of herself along with it.

The selfless spouse, named Nimrah, had nipped out quickly with her husband to pick up his late night meal, interrupting her evening skincare routine to help.

Instead of wasting valuable beauty product, she'd decided to leave her face mask on, figuring no-one would see her if she stayed in the car.

Little did she know she had been secretly papped by a hidden camera for parking in a restricted area.

A few months later she received a £100 fine in the post, along with the excruciating evidence of her misdemeanour.

Seeing the funny side of things, Nimrah posted the pics to her TikTok account, @nimrxhh, to share the laughter.

She snapped a smiley selfie in the first slide, along with the caption: "POV - Your husband wants to go get a takeaway late at night and you park where you shouldn't park and you get a fine.

"But you were in the middle of your skin care."

The next slide shows the pic she had been sent, a clear image of her car parked up where it shouldn't be - as her hungry husband exits the vehicle to collect his late night feast.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Nimrah can be seen in her comfies with her hood up.

Blissfully unaware of the hidden camera, she's relaxing while donning a hydrating white sheet mask.

The pic had been dated Thusday 17 October 2024, 01:06AM in large red writing.

Viewers react

Viewers couldn't help but liken Nimrah's look to something out of a movie.

"Stop, it’s giving Michael Myers," said one person.

"Nah, that’s giving Mrs Doubtfire," said another.

"It’s like something from a horror film," joked someone else.

While others laughed at the hilarity of the situation and pointed out it was impossible to actually identify Nimrah as the culprit.

"You could've just said the ghost was driving," someone quipped.

"You could genuinely say that is literally anybody," another person joined in.

"No face, no case!" someone added.

"Imagine working at the office where they issue this to you, this is legendary," said another.

"A fine for getting a takeaway is the worst, like, it was only meant to cost £20," groaned someone else.
