TOWIE is set to undergo a major casting shake-up as producers search for new stars to join the ITVBe show.
In a bid to bring fresh new faces to Towie, producers have taken to Instagram to announce the exciting news to fans.
The post read: "Lime Pictures is casting for the next series of The Only Way Is Essex," along with contact details to get in touch.
Fans flooded the comments section with excitement at seeing the switch-up, saying this was what Towie needed.
One user wrote: "Please!!!! We desperately need better tv these are so zzzz," referring to the current cast being 'boring'.
Another added: "Wish they would actually use normal people."

This surprise casting came after Ella Rae Wise dropped hints that she might be quitting the show.
Ella who joined the show in 2019 got serious backlash after moving in on Dan Edgar after he came out of a six year relationship with co-star Amber turner.
Ella hinted that her future lies with her fashion line, perhaps suggesting that her days on TOWIE could be numbered.
Writing in her post she said: “For the minute we are just online, but not for long, there are big things to come. The brand is my baby and my future.”
Just two years ago, sisters Chloe, Frankie and Demi Sims all quit Towie to start their own show on OnlyFans TV called House Of Sims.
The first series, shot in LA, resulted in a major fallout between the sisters, but Chloe has announced that the clan will be coming out with another series.
Other notable names who have left TOWIE over the years include Chloe Brockett, Lydia Bright, and Shelby Tribble.
