Coronation Street fans go wild as Steve McDonald hints at epic return for legendary ex-wife
CORONATION Street fans went wild tonight after Steve McDonald hinted at an epic return for a legendary ex-wife.
The character - played by Simon Gregson - has been married a whopping five times, with Tracy Barlow his current spouse.
The couple were previously married in 2012 before divorcing and then remarrying in 2018.
Steve's first wife was Vicky Arden in 1995, before he tied the knot with Karen Phillips in 2001.
His third wife was Becky Granger in 2009, before he married Michelle Connor in 2015 following his divorce from Tracy the first time around.
In tonight's episode of Coronation Street, Steve reflected on his marriages during a chat with Daisy Midgeley in the Rovers Return.

Daisy is now running the pub with Jenny Connor and asked former landlord Steve what he missed most about owning the boozer.
She then asked: "Who was your least favourite punter?" and Steve replied "Tracy".
On the subject of his wives, Daisy continued: "Which of your four ex wives do you miss the most?"
Without missing a beat, Steve replied: "Karen, next question."
Sadly they were interrupted by Daniel Osbourne and Bethany Platt's arrival, but his answer was enough to get Corrie viewers excited on social media.
Karen was played by Suranne Jones and was last seen on the ITV soap on Boxing Day 2004.
Since then, Suranne has gone on to have a stellar career starring in dramas including Gentleman Jack, Vigil and Doctor Foster.
But her success away from the soap hasn't stopped Corrie fans hoping that one day she will return.
Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one wrote: "Steve mentioning Karen!"
Another added: "Karen and Steve got married on yesterday's Classic Corrie!" while a third tweeted: "Steve misses Karen!"
