  • Van Gerwen vs Rydz

It's all smiles from Callan Rydz, who takes time out to sign autographs while he should be walking to the oche.

He sheepishly speeds up and laughs from the stage, before MVG marches in to the familiar sounds of Seven Nation Army.

This could be a belter, with Rydz playing some of the darts of his life this past fortnight.

But we all know how MVG can turn things up in the latter stages of this tournament. Game on.

  • Dobey speaks

An emotional Chris Dobey is speaking on stage after his 5-3 win over Gerwyn Price.

As the crowd sang his name, Dobey said: "Where does this rank in my career? It’s definitely at the top.

"Getting over the defeat last year and getting over the line this year, it means a lot.

"Once again, the fans have been fantastic. I have never been so nervous throwing at a winning double than I have today.

"Honestly, I am just pleased I grinded it back and got the win.

"It reminded me of exactly the same as last year against Rob Cross. I thought: ‘Just keep going, you will get another chance.’

"Luckily, I got over the line. I am overwhelmed."

  • Next up - Michael van Gerwen vs Callan Rydz

Three-time champ MVG faces the unseeded Riot in our next quarter-final.

The winner of this contest will go forward to play Chris Dobey tomorrow.

Walk-ons are imminent at the Palace, which is absolutely bouncing.

  • Dobey keeps his cool

Somehow, Chris Dobey held his nerve to win with a quite brilliant checkout of 92.

After watching Price dancing on stage following the seventh set steal, Hollywood produces a moment of magic.

He moves through to the semi-final after posting an average of 95.83.

For Price, he will be gutted. But you don't win many games on this stage hitting 15/56 doubles.
