Strictly tour chaos as top star is left bedridden after falling ill
THE Strictly Come Dancing tour was almost left in chaos this evening after Annabel Croft fell ill.
The 57-year-old spent her day off yesterday completely bedridden, leaving producers concerned she wouldn’t be able to dance this evening - and last minute changes would be needed.
The stars are currently touring the UK and are due to perform in Nottingham for the next couple of days.
An insider said: “The celebs had a well-deserved day off yesterday but unfortunately Annabel was really unwell.
“She spent the whole day in bed in her hotel and only emerged this morning to get some water.
“It was a bit touch and go about if she would be well enough to get on stage this evening. It seems the day of rest has really helped her though – and she will be ready to rumba later.”

Tennis player Annabel is dancing with Graziano Di Prima on the tour, despite being paired with Johannes Radebe during the show.
Speaking about Johannes absence, Annabel, who came fourth on the show with him, recently said: “We're both sad about [not doing the tour together].
"I think that Johannes has his own tour, so he's promoting his own show and I think it was too close to this tour and his body also needs a rest.
“He needs to recharge his batteries so I think he's probably sad that he couldn't make it work but I hear that term 'keep dancing' and I now realise what that is because I do want to keep dancing. "
She added: "When I got the opportunity to do the tour, I thought 'oh wow, how wonderful to just keep going.’ But of course, I'd love to have been with him.”
The tour runs for just another week and comes to a close in London at the O2 Arena on February 11.
