As the show heads into its penultimate week the dances that the remaining celebrities will perform have been released.

It's been revealed that Annabel and Johannes will Salsa to You'll Be Mine by Gloria Estefan, leaving fans in uproar.

The salsa is a notoriously hard dance to perform on the live show, with many celebrities finding it difficult.

It's Annabel's last chance to impress the judges, and secure a place in the final.

So fans think she should've been given a dance that shows off her skill more, rather than the tricky Salsa.

Taking to X/Twitter, one person tweeted: "A salsa? Oh they want Annabel GONE!"

While another said: "Annabel salsa… why are they setting her up she could have done Viennese waltz and argentine tango!"

This one fumed: "Oh God, I feel like Annabel is getting shafted next week with a Salsa - dunno how that’ll go but hoping she makes the final."

But fans need not worry too much, as she will also be performing a Viennese waltz.

Annabel has gone from strength to strength in the competition.

In fact, her performance during the Blackpool round of the show was so powerful she even had head judge Shirley Ballas in tears.

The couple performed to Unchained Melody with the former tennis pro dedicating the performance to her late husband Mel Coleman.

When the routine was over, Annabel and Johannes were quite emotional, with judge Shirley pointing out she was clutching a tissue as the routine had left her in tears.

She said: "Well, I have to have another tissue now because this was just so extraordinarily beautiful.

“You’re so calm, you’re so kind. We’ve watched you from the beginning when you were very, very nervous.

"To watch you here at Blackpool, your plie with your beautiful breath, your sense of time, your energy and your love for each other was just absolutely spellbinding, well done.”

Annabel previously said that Strictly had helped her start to heal from the pain of losing her husband Mel earlier this year.

The show's intense training schedule has been a good distraction for the star, who lost her husband to cancer.

Mel sadly died from the disease, just weeks after being diagnosed.

For Annabel, his tragic passing is what encouraged her to say yes to Strictly in the first place.

She told The Mirror: "I just love the fact that it just takes you away to a different place, trying something completely different, but also try and let go and try to be in the moment.

"We're trying to get there, I don't think I've got there yet.

"But try to feel the music and start to, once you've got the steps, then just to let go of everything and just dance and just be free in your spirit. And it is very joyful. It does take me back to my childhood a little bit."

Strictly Come Dancing is available on BBC iPlayer.
