    The statement differs from his pro-unity call ahead of the RNC, when Trump promised he wouldn't refer to Biden by name to decrease dangerous political rhetoric.

    Trump claimed that electric boats would result in electrocution.

    He clarified that he was using an analogy but that he doesn't support a switch to electric.

    Trump took a strong stance against NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement which included trade with Canada, Mexico, and the US.

    He said that Biden would support the agreement and took shots at the president's memory.

    Trump claimed that Elon Musk donates $45 million a month to his campaign.

    While on the topic of auto workers, Trump asked a union man from the crowd to join him on stage.

    The man took the microphone and urged supporters to "do their part."

    Trump gushed over the supporter's arms.

    Trump promised Michiganders that he would "save the auto industry from obliteration."

    He clarified that he wasn't against electric cars, but wanted to follow the market.

    Trump said that he loved Elon Musk and added that the Tesla CEO endorsed him last week.

    "I've always had a good relationship with him," Trump said.
