Sam was overcome with emotion as girlfriend Zara McDermott sent him a heartwarmnig and supportive note.

Sam has been dating Love Island star Zara since 2019, and the couple share a home together in Chelsea with their cats.

She praised his ‘energy and sparkle’, while also joking about him hugging Tony and having a bromance with Marvin.

Zara wrote: “It’s your Goose here. Keep shining, keep lighting up the camp in your special way and know just how beautiful a person everyone thinks you are.”

Marvin Humes' letter from home in full

Hey baby. I'm writing this bursting with pride! Every night I watch you with the biggest smile on my face, I wish I could jump into the TV and give you a squeeze.

I knew you would get stuck in and it fills me with joy to see that you have made friends for life in camp. Although I need you to let me know if Sam is moving in with us when you are back so I can sort the spare room.

I can't tell you how many times we have watched you jumping out of the plane. Valle even cried happy tears`. The kids are SO proud of you baby, I’ve got my work cut out to try and impress them now!

Nothing has changed here, the chaos is as chaotic as ever. It was the girls' parents evening this week, and as you can guess they are absolutely smashing it! Blake is talking SO much more now and has been telling all his friends at nursery that his Dad works in a jungle.

Watching the other campmates talk about you and the strength and guidance you have been bringing to the camp has made me want to burst. what we are missing at home really is the camps' gain.

I love you more than anything and we are all so incredibly proud of you. You wouldn't believe how many times I’ve picked up the phone to call you. It’s so weird not having my best mate here.

We want you to stay for as long as possible but as far as I am concerned the job is already done as the world has seen the real kind, fun and beautiful you. In saying that I’m so over the school run and Alaia's maths homework has taken a major dip with me in charge.

Lots for you to work on while I am hiding in a spa somewhere on your return.

Love you always

Marvin broke down himself as he heard wife Rochelle Humes’ kind words about him.

The JLS singer marred Rochelle over ten years ago and they share three children together.

She explained how much she was missing her best friend – just moments after he had described her as his best mate in conversation with Fred Siriex.

Rochelle shared:  “Hey baby, Blake is talking so much more and has been telling his friends at nursery that his dad now ‘works in the jungle’.

To my darling Sam, it’s your Goose here.  I have never in my life felt more proud of someone,as I have done watching you on our TV screens every single night. You have shone beyond words, your energy, your sparkle and your humour has put a smile on so many peoples faces, especially mine.

You are an incredible person, Sam, you are unique and wonder full and we are all in awe of you. I am so lucky to call you mine. I want you to know that you are amazing, keep being you, even if it means giving some more unsolicited hugs (I think Tony secretly likes it).

I am loving watching your bromance with Marvin and I definitely think we should have him over for bolognese when you all come home! I love you beyond words, I cannot wait to see you again and nose bop you 100 times!

The cats are also missing you but we all sit down together every evening to watch Dad on the TV, Albus specifically liked watching the trial where the frog landed on your head.

I’ve also had Pete over a couple of times to watch the show together!!!

Again, I cannot tell you how proud I am of you. I hope you are having so much fun, I absolutely love you so much. Keep shining, keep lighting up the camp in your special way and know how beautiful of a person everyone thinks you are.

“It’s so weird not having my best mate here.”

The This Morning presenter posted a video of herself as she watched the very moving episode last night – breaking down in tears as she watched Marvin weep.

Marvin has now been tipped to win the show – as data from BonusCodeBets.co.uk revealed he find the criteria from previous series to take the crown.

The  JLS star will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous boyband champions, with Westlife’s Kian Egan, Busted’s Matt Willis, and Dougie Poynter from McFly, all been victorious.

Both Rochelle and Zara are not currently in Australia ahead of the final.

Sam's best mate Pete Wicks has flown out to support him, because Zara is busy with work.
