Fashionista raves about a dupe of the Ugg slippers that’s £70 cheaper & ‘stay’ on her feet unlike the posh version
A CASH-SAVVY fashionista has found a dupe of the viral Ugg Tasman slippers that costs just a fraction of the price - and is more comfortable than the real thing.
Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few months, you will know that the Ugg Tasman slippers have become all the rage in the fashion world.
Whether worn around the house to keep your feet toasty or styled with flared jeans, we've seen this footwear on just about every social media feed.
However, priced at an eye-watering £100, the Ugg slippers are also not the most affordable option for many cash-strapped style enthusiasts.
But luckily, if you didn't find a pair under the Christmas tree this year, one woman has come to rescue with an alternative - and not only is the dupe cheaper, but also more comfortable than the posh version.
The fashionista, Sophie Clare White, explained that whilst her real Uggs were ''beautiful'', there were several reasons she was ''annoyed'' at having forked out a fortune for the pair.

Not only was the price tag too hefty in her eyes, but the £100 slippers were a nightmare to walk in, as the back of them ''constantly slips off''.
''Like an extremely heavy flip-flop,'' Sophie explained in her video.
''I can't wear them outside because I would throw them off my feet.''
After purchasing the high-end footwear, the fashionista also discovered you couldn't really see the tag when sporting the sheepskin slippers with a pair of flared bottoms.
However, if you still want the chic look without the designer price, there's a lookalike that's a close match to the real Uggs - EGO Tazmin Actec Detail Faud Fur Linin Platform Slippers.
Comparing the £30.99 pair to the £100 one, Sophie demonstrated that the platform height was ''the same'', although the front stitching was a little bit ''different'' and the back pull was missing.
These two minor details, however, didn't seem to bother the shopper too much, especially as the EGO slippers ''stayed'' on her feet unlike the UGG pair.
''I'm always happy to pay for quality. But in all honestly, these are slippers.
''I know you can get a lot of copies of these. But sometimes these copies look completely different, they look like a really bad quality version.
''But these, however, are fantastic.''
Hundreds of fellow style lovers flocked to comments to share their thoughts, with one writing: ''Just been on ego and omg, they're slaying with their slippers, wow.''
Someone else chimed in: ''These are HOUSE slippers made to be worn inside the house, not for walking long distances. Maybe that’s why they slip off?''
Another reckoned: ''But you buy what you want, no need to explain yourself.
''Price is gonna be different as Uggs are sheepskin. Price come from the fact that it is.''
''Not me paying £180 for my mustard seed Uggs and they slip off my feet,'' someone else had the same issue.
