I thought I’d bought a bog standard house until I made some amazing discoveries – people say I’ve hit the jackpot

A WOMAN who thought she had bought a bog standard Victorian home, has revealed some of the "amazing discoveries", she found when she began renovating the property.

Tiah Jean shared details of her finds via a series of videos posted to her TikTok channel.

"Just made an amazing discovery under the old carpet of my recently purchased house", she said.

Tiah pulled back the cream carpet in one of the room's of her 1902 home to at first reveal a mustard coloured carpet underneath.

Then, after pulling the second carpet up, she discovered some gorgeous linoleum flooring, with a pink and blue flower pattern on it.

"Oh my god, look at that stunning flooring", she said.

Tiah revealed that she has also found a number of old coins under the flooring in other rooms in the property.

In a second video, Tiah shared that she had found the house's original wood fire stove in the garage of her knew home.

The stove was adorned with beautiful swirling patterns, and Tiah said that she is going to clean it up and have it as a decorative ornament in her home.

"The perks of living in an older home", she said.

In a third video, Tiah revealed some of the more "creepy" discoveries she has made since moving into her Victorian home.

She found some baby's shoes. a terrifying looking Jack In A Box, some hidden cupboards and a rocking chair that she said sometimes rocks on it's own.

Tiah said that the reason she purchased such an old house was to restore it to it's former glory.

The TikToker's video, which was posted under the username @tiahheann, has likely left many impressed, as it has racked up over 612,000 views on the video sharing platform.

Social media users raced to the comments section to share their thoughts on Tiah's discoveries.

One person said: "You have officially hit the jackpot."

Another person said: "I love how people are appreciating older styles.
