Shopper brags after nabbing 32 loo rolls for £10, but others say you ‘might as well use your hand’ as it’s two-ply
HE thought he'd got an incredible bargain after nabbing 32 toilet rolls for just £10.
But Ray soon found out that people would rather pay more for better quality loo roll, as the one he got was two-ply.
Ray took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share his find.
"Ok only 2ply, but......£10!" he wrote, alongside a picture of the toilet paper.
"B&Q, Blackburn today."
The image showed the "mega pack" of Nicky toilet rolls, with "soft touch" written on the front.

But the comments section was almost immediately filled with people slamming Ray's two-ply selection.
"Might as well use your hand," one said.
"Cheap toilet roll is a false economy - you use more of it," another insisted.
"It's the one thing we don't scrimp on!"
"No thanks, I'll stick with 3-ply, I like to keep my hands dry and clean!" a third wrote.
"Not worth it. 2ply you'll use more," someone else agreed.
As another commented: "I always look at the size of the roll inside to see how wide it is - these don’t that long at all."
"You cant compare ' rolls ' price anymore," someone else pointed out.
"There are double rolls and different ply ones now. There is no law to how many sheets make a roll, it's just like the wild west.
"Just find one that suits and wipe".
But others hit back and said that the rolls Ray found are useful in some situations.
"I use these, they're OK," one wrote.
"I got through a roll in a day and half.. 1 adult 2 kids," another added.
"Kids use so much as it’s thin..
"I did use andrex but that was so thick when kids used it blocked my toilet every other day.
"May aswell use smart price Asda toilet roll it’s better haha!"
"I'd probably buy it, I'm the only person I buy toilet paper for so as long as it does the job I'm not too fussed," a third commented.
"And 32 rolls would last me ages!"
"Only buy this to use in my motorhome as it's so thin it breaks down in the cassette toilet well," someone else admitted.
And some used the comments section to reveal their own bargain toilet paper buys.
"You've been done, can get 32 rolls of 3 ply Nicky for £8.49," one insisted.
