A FASHION pro has shared the real reason why you should never wear fake pearl necklaces.
Not only this, but Level Blue also revealed the two other fashion trends that make you look tacky, and not classy.
So if you want to look elegant, you’ll need to avoid following the celebrity sunglasses trends and should ditch the ‘old money’ look.
Sharing her thoughts on social media, the fashionista said: “Classy versus tacky looks.”
When it comes to ‘old money’ outfits, Level Blue explained: “A lot of ladies are trying to have that old money look, so they buy tweed blazers and skirts.
“The problem is that a lady coming from an old money family would never wear a short, cheap looking skirt with a cropped blazer like this.

“It is going to look more like this - classic, modest and sophisticated, with high quality material.
“So be very careful about that old money look trend that is shown to you by young girls who are not coming from a high class background, because they don't know what they're talking about.”
She also shared her thoughts on fake pearl necklaces, as she added: “You also want to avoid wearing those fake pearl necklaces.
“It is very obvious and it looks like a very poor attempt to appear classy.
“If you cannot afford real pearls, rather invest in something dainty that will look a lot more elegant.”
Finally, when it comes to sunglasses, you’ll need to pay attention if you want to look stylish.
According to Level Blue: “Let's talk about sunglasses because it looks like this trend will be here for a while.
“I said it many times and I will say it again - just because everyone else is doing it, doesn't mean you need to participate in that."
When it comes to oval sunglasses, often worn by Bella Hadid, Level Blue shared: “These glasses look ridiculous. And it's fine if you're 15 and you're exploring your style and you're in your self-expression phase.
“It is not appropriate for a classy lady."
And if you're a fan of Kim Kardashian's oversized eyewear, Level Blue wrote: "Massive celebrity glasses also need to go.
“If you don't want to look tacky, get a classic pair of sunglasses that are right for your face shape and size.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @level_blue, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as at the time of writing, it had quickly amassed 83,900 views in just one week.
Social media users were keen to agree with Level Blue’s advice, which many took to the comments to express.
