Truck teeters on cliff edge in terrifying picture – but you’re a genius if you can tell what’s happening in 10 seconds
FACEBOOK users nearly fell out of their chairs when they came across a photo of a truck at the very edge of a tall cliff.
It takes a clever eye to pinpoint how the original poster fooled its viewers.
Posted to the Fall Creek Falls State Park account in 2019 is a photo of a vintage, lime green truck parked on the edge of a cliff with a steep, stomach-clenching drop.
"Abandoned vehicle found at Fall Creek Falls last night," the post read.
"It will be in Ranger Sean’s patrol vehicle if the owner wants it back."
The truck is only a few feet from the edge, and the photographer is on the edge of a different cliff grabbing the shot.
In the background, waterfalls can be seen cascading into the drop, helping to reinforce the depth of the drop.
The state park is in Tennessee and is the state's largest and most visited.
It covers 29,800 acres and has rolling hills, gorges, and a long list of waterfalls and streams.
Fall Creek Fall, where the photo was taken, stands 256 feet high.
It is listed as one of the highest waterfalls in the eastern side of the United States.
A few other photos of the truck were posted, as well as four other photos of it in other curious places.
The nature of the photo stirred quite a reaction from viewers, who likely saw it from a mobile phone.

Ranger Sean posted photos of it looking like it was parked in a lot, which prompted some viewers to catch on quickly.
"I had to read it a few times," one user wrote.
"What do you mean, 'It will be in Ranger Sean's vehicle? Then I saw the rest of the photos."
Another user commented that it took them a while to catch on.
"The first picture had me," their comment read.
"I was like, 'They left it sitting there,' that was good."
Someone else wrote that they were confused as to why someone would leave such a beautiful truck abandoned.
