‘I won’t reach out to her first’, says Geordie Shore’s Marnie as she breaks silence on feud with Charlotte Crosby

GEORDIE Shore star Marnie Simpson has broken her silence on her feud with co-star Charlotte Crosby - and insisted that she "won't reach out to her first".

Charlotte, who joined the show alongside her fiance Jake Ankers and their daughter Alba, quit the MTV series this summer after a series of rows with fellow cast members.

The new mum, 33, was then seen storming out after a fiery row with co-star Marnie over a highchair and insisted she had quit for good.

Marnie, 31, admitted she would happily reconcile with Charlotte but said she won't make the first move.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Marnie said: "I’ve lived in London for seven or eight years, so I never really seen Charlotte that much, I used to talk to her a lot on social media and WhatsApp, but we weren’t heavily in each others lives.

"I think it’s a shame because the memories what we got, it’s a shame that we’ve lost the friendship but it is what it is.

"It doesn’t get us down, I’m not losing any sleep over it.

"I’m just focusing on the positive this year, I don’t want to focus on any negatives.

"I want to surround myself with people who uplift me and make me feel good and who want the best for us.”

When asked if she'd ever reach out first to make amends, Marnie insisted: “No never."

Charlotte flew home early from filming the upcoming series of Geordie Shore in Cyprus after a series of rows, and she and Marnie later unfollowed each other on social media.

Charlotte then broke down in tears earlier this month on her Always On podcast, revealing she had quit the show 'forever' and would not return.

She said: "It just ended up going so terribly wrong. I don't know why but the whole series, I later discovered, was a bit weird.

While Charlotte did not name any specific cast members, she explained: "There was a silly argument, over a high chair of all things, that escalated. And I just left."

Watch the first TWO episodes of the brand-new series of Geordie Shore on Paramount+ first from 9 Jan, or catch-up weekly on MTV! New episodes drop first on Paramount+ every Tuesday.
