DROPPING out of the rat race and living in an off-grid tent has the been the best thing ever for one mother earth.
Four years ago she decided to live permantely outside and she considers it a luxury lifestyle.
She charges her phone by solar power, bathes outdoors, and makes heat with a wood stove.
Interest in Manders (@mountain.manders) lifestyle has seen attract a TikTok following of over 189,000.
She has chronicled her daily rituals which are far removed from 21st century living, and that's just how she likes it.
In this post, she shows viewers a typical day in her off-grid life.

“I live outside 24/7, 365 days, for four years now after deciding that I wanted my energy to belong to the earth instead of a corporation," she said.
There are few mod cons in her lifestyle, apart from one.
“The only devices that require power are my phone and headlamp which I charge by solar power," she said.
Her indoor lighting sources were also powered by the sun.
She continues her sustainable way of life through her basic washing facilities.
“I handwash all of my clothes and bathe in an outdoor shower," she wrote.
And she has her own type of central heating sorted too, but this requires constant maintenance.
“I heat my tent with a woodstove and, despite common assumptions, it’s actually toasty warm even on cold nights," she said.
But her bathroom arrangements might be a step too far for some.
“The bathroom is an outside compost toilet which is an effective way to get rid of waste if youre not squeamish," she said.
There is no TV in her life. Instead her entertainment is crafting, including tanning, beadwork, basketry, knitting, and clothes making, some of which she sells on Etsy.
“This alternative way of living isn’t for the weak of mind. But for me this is the only way to live free," she said.
“I think I live in luxury. Luxury of feedom and the benefits of hard work," she added.
"This lifestyle may seem unusual to the casual bystander but I guarantee it’s more gratifying than slaving away to afford a house I’ll never enjoy because I’m too busy working for it," she added
There was a lot of interest in her post with over 343,000 reacting to it and nearly 9,000 commenting.
It induced envy from many of them.
“Glad you are living your dream. I am planning a homestead right now, can’t wait," said one commenter.
