I found super rare designer perfumes at the thrift store for less than $5 – they sell for hundreds, I cleared the shelf
A THRIFTY shopper has divided opinions after revealing she stocked up on a heavily discounted designer perfume.
She was excited to see a shelf full of the Chloe perfume which is no longer sold in fragrance stores.
Msfili (@msfili) has garnered over 29,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares budget-friendly shopping hauls.
She took to the social media platform to share the outcome of her latest visit to a thrift store in Canada.
She spoke enthusiastically as she showed a shelf full of perfumes that were all priced at less than $6 per bottle.
“The first thing I spotted when I walked in the thrift store were these perfumes,” she said.
“I flipped it over and it said Chloe Narcisse, $5 for two of them I thought that was a deal.
“I had to buy them all.”
The money-savvy shopper decided to look at how much the perfumes were listed for online.
She was shocked to see Chloe Narcisse perfumes and gift sets on eBay ranging from $50 to $500 depending on the size.
“This is how much they sell for because they are rare,” she said.
“They are discontinued and they are very sought after.”
The TikToker captioned the video with hashtags including #thriftwithme and #perfume which helped it to reach over 3 million views.
She revealed in a comment that she had already sold five of the perfumes for a whopping $400.
Thousands of people liked the post and were inspired to go in search of bargains in thrift stores for themselves.
However, not everyone in the comment section was impressed with the shopping haul.
Many suggested the perfumes were cheap because they were either expired or fake, while others accused the TikToker of being “greedy” for stocking up.
“Should’ve left some bottles for people who like this and can’t afford to buy it for $50+, you’re just selfish for your own gain it seems,” one person wrote.
“Girl why are you hoarding it to yourself [skull emojis],” another said.

“Since they’re not in the packaging, I will believe that they are fake,” a third chimed in.
“Color is very dark, which means it’s old and doesn’t smell like it should. It was my favorite perfume for years,” another added.
