A SNAKE has cleverly hidden itself in the brush, and only those with X-ray vision will be able to find it.

Locating the creature in under 18 seconds could mean you have a sharper eye than most.

Redditor Equivalent_turn8115 posted the puzzle on the social media platform and challenged users to "find the timber rattlesnake."

They explained that their spouse was working in the area and within striking range of the poisonous creature.

"[My] wife almost found it the hard way cutting brush with a machete," they wrote.

The Redditor said she called them over, but they couldn't spot the serpent without her pointing it out.

They also pointed out that it had nine rattles on its tail — but "never made a sound."

The original poster was shocked by the near miss and grateful for his wife's good luck.

"They are molting this time of year, which makes it even more amazing she didn’t get tagged," they said.
