In her video, Kate (@tabejakate) talked her followers through her daily beauty process.
"I’m often asked if this is a powder foundation and the answer is no way," the TikToker said.
"Since I’m in my mid-forties I steer clear of any powder products on my face."
Kate broke down the variety of reasons why she avoids powder foundation.
"Powders look really good right when you first apply them but that only lasts a couple of hours max until it absorbs all the oil and then just gets cakey and gross," she explained.
"I want cream makeup that is luminous, that is going to melt into my skin and look good all day."
Kate recommended the $16 Seint cream contour foundation for perfecting a dewy finish to your face.
She also added the brand's $16 bronzer cream and $16 lip and cheek blush cream.
Kate pointed out that using all cream products gives her a more blended finish.
