A MOM of two has shared her simple laundry hack that revived her white clothes after a color mishap in the wash.
She said her "mind is blown" by how quickly a budget-friendly item worked.
Self-described "California Mom" Cait Regan (@caitregan) doesn't shy away from showing important aspects of her life online, from family to fashion.
She revealed in a video that she went through a laundry faux pas and accidentally washed white clothes with a pair of jeans.
She showed her audience a small pile of blue-tinged clothing.
Thankfully, she found an easy cleaning hack that rectified the issue.
"This laundry hack just saved my favorite pile of white clothes. My mind is blown right now," she said.
The best part is that it barely costs anything.
Cait previously knew about the Shout Color Catcher Sheets, $13.49 on Amazon, but she wasn't aware of multiple uses.
It's intended to be placed in the wash when you want to dry whites and darks or whites and colors together.
"What I didn't know is you can actually use these if you accidentally dye your clothes," she said.
At the end of the video, she held up a large pile of formerly barely blue clothes.
"That baby blue clothes I showed you earlier are now back to cream and bright white with no bleach. Nothing like they're back to perfection," she gushed.
